Im not sure what you don't understand either. Kale is simply saying that she doesn't understand why the student athlete's are the ones being tested for drugs because most student athletes aren't doing drugs, they don't have enough time. Kale is saying that the people that do drugs are people that don't involve themselves in any after school activites, they have to much free time and get into drugs because of that. Then they aren't the ones that get tested because the school cannot test them because they aren't apart of any after school activities that say that they cannot do drugs. Does this clear up your question?

Ok, so let me get this straight. The real problem is the general student body that doesn't participate in sports? I think thats your point. So just because the jocks of your school (including yourself)haven't been CAUGHT with any type of drug simply means that the rest of the student body are the ones with "a drug problem"? I don't know why I can't follow your infallable logic but, alas, it eludes me completely.

i was looking for information on this subject for a research paper but didnt find much about the topic. a list of the pros that go with drug tesing in schools should be on here. it doesnt really state much but only that its a good thing and that it helps kids stay away from them. i have gotten that same answer from every other web site too.

I totally agree with the author of this article because our athletes at my school are getting drug tested when the real problem is with the non-athletic students. I happen to be a student athlete myself, and I based my research paper on your article.(dont worry about plagerism. I cited all of my work.)
