If its urine, it would take at least 10-15 days to leave on an average. If its hair, it would take a minimum of 3 months to a few years. If its blood it’s less than 15 days. If its saliva it’s only 1-2 days.

From what you have told, I understand that you are habituated to the drug. You seem to be a very frequent user too who takes good amount of the drug often. If that is the case, the drug tends to stay in system for long. However, I see that your metabolic rate is likely to be very high too. My husband smoked pot 2 weeks ago, he hit it 2-3 times. Other than that he doesnt do anything. No products will help you to get rid of THC. THC sticks to the fat in your body hit the gym a couple of times a day and drinking lots of water doesn’t make a difference. Hey, I’m 23 years old, ~140lbs, high metabolism, but not very active (desk job with lots of sitting), little body fat, and I eat whatever without gaining weight.
The last time I smoked was Thursday Jan 15th (10 days ago), and I was a frequent user, smoking about 4 bags a week (~5-7 blunts) for a few years, so I know the accumulative effect is probably significant.
I’ve applied for a few positions at a hospital so odds are they will drug test, but I’ve yet to hear back.
My question is, when would you think it is pretty much safe for me to pass a drug test?

First of all, you should tell as to what is the type of drug test that you are taking? If it is urine test, then stay away from drugs for at least 2 months. Since you are a frequent user, 2 months would be a safe bet. If its hair follicle tests, nothing is guaranteed. Detox can help

if i havn’t smoked weed since 12/30/08, keep in mind i was a heavy/chronic/quality smoker.. =/ and as of 02/14/09 im still failing UA iCUP tests, what natural steps would i have to take to get clean quicker then waiting 3 months? Hi, i gave up smoking cannabis resin and herbal cannabis 2 months ago, after being a daily smoker of using at most an 8th of an ounce a week for at least 10 years. I smoked 1 joint of cannabis resin last night and have discovered my work place could test me for drugs in the next 2 weeks. Will this 1 joint show up in the test. Hey, I just got back from taking a urine drug test.
I’ve been clean for 28 days, and I’m kicking myself for that because 2 days after I smoked I got that call-back for pre-employment screening.
Before the 28 days I was clean for a month and before that I’d smoke a little bit each week for almost 2 years, nothing crazy though. (Height- 5′7”, Weight – 138lbs, high metabolism, physically active).

Don’t sugar-coat it…what do you think my odds of passing and getting a negative are? I want to know if I should be crazy worrying or if I can get a little peace of mind.

Since you have been a regular drug taker in the past, I am not able to assure you of completely passing drug test. But one thing that is positive is that your drug intake in the past one month is almost nil. That is last time you had it was on 27the feb- right? Cannabis tends to stay in your system for 3-weeks to 3 months. But in case of the cortex of your hair, it can stay for years. If you are going to undergo urine screening or blood test, then you can take the test after 3 months timeframe to be safe. This holds good only for occasional smokers

28 days is good time within which the drugs will go out of your system provided you are an occasional smoker. If you had been regular, then I would say that you still stand a 50% chance of passing. But if you had been an occasional smoker, you can relax. You would surely pass the test
