That is the craziest s#!t I’ve ever heard… I had 7 years of sobriety and threw it away. I will say this though, there is no way in hell I would ever in a million years use a treatment of BENZO’s, Vicodine, and Speed when the going gets tough. I have never in my life heard anything so blantly stupid! That is not treatment, that is something you tell your family when your pretending to get sober because they have no idea that your full of s#!t. I’m glad I read this though because my advice would be to find an outpatient program, get help, talk to others, go to meetings, church, pray whatever it takes and most importantly DON’T USE! No matter what, ANY DRUG, and yes alcohol is probably the most dangerous drug.. Please note that the guy who wrote this has had no RECOVERY, forced abstinence by incarceration is not treatment! Using Drugs to wean off is not treatment unless it is prescribed by a doctor, not an addict!

i quit cold turkey from a 100mgs and it was the WORST thing ever I didnt sleep more than 15-20 min a day or night i couldnt eat couldnt even work didnt wanna be alive and that lasted for a mth and a half…….Now im back on Mdone and on 90mgs not planning on ever gettin off cause no matter how you try or how strong you are when you take that last dose ur lifes gonna be in a world of hurt

Methadone is great and it saved my life and my brothers for sure he was taking up to 30 80mg oxys a day or andthing he could get his hands on. Methadone turned his life around and now hes NORMAL not HIGH yeah he nods and likes to eat sweats and cant shit right sometimes but hes now a Brother and not a junkie

Help urgent…. i was at 90 mg of methadone for 6 months, hard times came couldnt pay for treatment anymore so they put me on a 15 day financial detox taking me down 6 mg a day til at zero i got down to 40mg on fri then they gave me carries for sat sun and mon pissed off and being me i took them all at once it equalled out to like 91 mg or so that was 30 hrs ago, my question is how long til i feel oxy again ? meaning i have like 3 80mgs put back incase i get sick how long til i can feel effects of oxycontin ??

Hey guys, I have a bad problem. I am a drug addict for opiates. i have been for last 10 years when i was 15 now i am 25. I have been to 3 methadone clinics. I have got off 3 times but was only on a high high dose for about 6-8 months. Well long story short. I moved from my town with all the hook ups and all my sources. Well at the time i didnt know i was moving to worst pain pill state in the union Florida. So when i moved 5 years ago I thought i could detox in Florida and wouldnt have a choice. So after i got here and after 9 days i had to be put on suboxen. Well when i signed up i was happy but after about 3 months i relized it was a pain clinic too. Some how people with out license can just buy clinics in florida. So around 4 or 5 month i was talking about to the doctor about going to methadone clinic most my life and now that i was on suboxen i could tell my back was in a lot worse pain. So he sends me for MRI same day right up the road. I dont know what i was thinking but I went up road and did. When i came back they checked it and I had a disslocated lower lumbar i dont remember which one L something. Anyway he was like well you need to take the lorcets this month unstead of suboxen. Ok I thought he knew i was drug addict so i did, and i didnt get high. The next month unstead of putting me back on sub i was never put on it again he gave me of all shit methadone and lorcets the lorcets later where switched to msir 30 morphine and 50 mg of methadone. Well I was back at were i was before i moved to florida. So i figured why not take the dose i was good at at the clinic i was last at. So the end first year i was on 100mg methadone and 90 30mg morphine. Now i was good for almost whole next year.Other then almost no where would fill it even thought it was legit made now since because most methadone patients are on 80 mgs to 100. Here were it gets worse and puts me in the shit i am in now. Ok he get arrested for writing scripts for something something because i found out my clinic was crooked like a speakeasy. Anyway they go clean it up and drop me for the next 3 yrs. The next visit after my doc was arrested they gave me 75mg methadone 2 morphine. Well i have been there 4 year now and i am on 60 mgs a day and loracet. Heres the problem if i dont take at least 80 mg a day i get sick long storey short the last week i always have ran out mediciine. I have to detox every month or fill terriblo the whole month. I want off but i go every time because i am so sick and after 10 days of detox hey i can go get 180 be better and owe my friend a few pills so have to get them. I went sign up for clinic. They told me to come back in a week and i spoke to the owner he was a real asshole and told me there no way i would pass his drug test and stay in that clinic much less get off. I told i had 3 times. Anyway they set my doc apointment up for a week from that day. and the doct was there 2 days later. I believe he was just an a hole. well here i am again i have to detox 10 every month 20 days ok. i am on my last dose. Heres what i think i should do either suck up these assholes at the clinic. Go to 18 day detox where you are put asleep and wake up and it gone. Wait 2 weeks then see a 100 legit pain clinic on my back and refuse to take anything daily only in pain so i dont get hooked. I am sucidal because to me my life feels like half a mmonth. Imagine half a year in withdraw. IDk what to do my back hurts too. I honest wish jack covorking was my doc. I am usualess being like this at 25 image 35 then 55. What should i do and i be honest i believe in hell if i didnt i woul died 10 years ago. I have took a look of drugs but u dont get high off methadone but about 2 weeks for anyone wanting to join just to get hig. IDK what do any suggestions guys HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My oxy habit was bad and I’ve been on methadone for about a year and a half now… 100mg… but I can easily go two days without (ie, say I dose fri morning, I can skip the clinic sat and sun morning, dose on monday morning) and not feel a thing. I was forced into learning this when certain things in life popped up and preventing me from getting to the clinic… I think it’s partly the fear that makes us start feeling the withdrawal symptoms so early, or maybe cuz I’m on a high dose it lasts longer in my system, or whatever… anyways, just in response to stephen craig, i guess i’m like your brother, somewhat in that sense… anyways, I went out of town for thanksgiving and actually forgot my lock box. no way I can dose before monday morning, and I haven’t had anything since mid-day thursday.. I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it’ll take for withdrawals to kick in? anyone think i’ll make it till mon morning without feeling them? cuz i’ve been lucky.. haven’t felt dopesick in over a year since i started at the clinic
… i’m scared!! trying to keep my mind off it, cuz sometimes I think the fear sets it off worse, like I said.. I know some people don’t feel anything for four or five days, since methadone has such a long half life…any ideas?
