Antifungals refererred to a "azoles" because they end with that suffix (mine is flucanazole I take 800 mg/day) can affect the enzyme that processes benzos. It has taken 6 mos for me to pee "clean" though I stopped teh day I went into methadone treatment. My infection is a spinal fungal abcess, very rare, limited almost entirely to ex iv users. However this is a common med for yeast infections. Please keep this info in mind. You can locate it on web md and other sites

21 days ago my wife gave me 10mg of Valium before a flight to help me relax. I had to take a random 7 drug screen today at work. I don't take Valium at all I think that is be first time I have ever taken it I have read the half like is 8.3 days so I was wondering if after almost 3 times half life reduction if it would still show up on the panel. My physical characteristics is 5'10 230 lbs. I have drank tons of water over the last three weeks as I work outside in the heat most of the time.

I am 5'0" tall and 95lbs. I take 10mg of Valium 3x a day everyday for the last 3 months (for anxiety). How long will it take to get out of my system? I am currently on the depo shot for birth control and I do drink plenty of water. I am trying to get into nursing school and I really need to know this information quick. For some reason it takes a while to get anything out of my system. I was around people who were smoking marijuana (I personally do not smoke it) and it showed up positive. That was in April. I retook another test in May and I still came back positive and I have talked with several nurses and my doctor and they said second hand smoke usually clears out of your system within 4-6 days...just as an example but I think a big factor is I lost about 20lbs in a month so that may be a cause as to why it has stayed in my system for so long. Can someone please give me a correct answer because after reading all of this there are so many different answers and I would just like the correct one.

Thank You! :)

They say Valium makes you feel good... Well it's a drug after all. But I don't wish to take some and any other drugs since I know the consequences. I'm just a concerned citizen and wanted people to know the details of this matter. So thank you so much for helping me and giving others the information about Valium.

Apparently, oral contraceptives are major metabolites and will hinder the elimination of desmethyldiazepam in your body, so how well it is eliminated from your system will also depend on what you are taking it with because other drugs interacts differently with the properties present in diazepam.
