There have been many doctor errors in surgery that obviously introduced this idea. I think this is an amazing breakthrough in technology. Are there any cases where this has already been performed?

I agree, Megadyne. It's amazing how much technology has helped improve the medical field. However, this is kind of scary to put your life in the hands of a robot. Robots are definitely designed to be perfect, but what if something short-circuited in the middle of surgery. Or there was some type of glitch? How soon are these robots set to be FDA approved?

Does anyone even realize how advanced our medical field has become even in the last 2 decades? This is incredible that we have access to these treatments.
